28.09.13   Yay, let’s go west!!!

Image

29.09.13   It’s a loooong way. Too long to have a lose tire. 2 hour mechanics delay!

Image

29.09.13   Las Vegassss! First note: The Bloody Marys here are a disappointment. But who complains about free drinks??

Our “Best Maid” Liam is already here and waits for us to get wild! #ThreePersonBachelorparty

29.09.13   The fabulous!

Image

29.09.13   Fun times drinking and gambling. Wait.. Turned out I was too exhausted to get drunk and I’m also not a big gambler. Why would I sit there and do the same thing for hours just to lose cash? Anyway, Delicious free Gin Tonics and shouting “New Shoes!!” whenever you win sometimg is entertaining enough! And if not just breeze in the extra amount of oxygen they provide in casinos…

30.09.13   Wedding day! Looking pretty exhausted though after 4 hours of sleep.

30.09.13   Headless in front of the townhall. LET’S DO THIS!!!

Image

30.09.13   We are officially approved to get married in the state of Nevada. Get the bubbly out.Time to get this party started.

Cheap André sparkly and plastic wine glasses. No wedding without midday Mimosas.

Image

30.09.13   Time for delicious foods and drinks. Dining appropriately in style at some Venezualian sandwich place. Can you think of a better wedding reception? Surely not!

Image

30.09.13   You may kiss the bride.. Oh wait! Not yet.

Image

30.09.13   Did it! Took me 5 minutes to become Mrs. Causey.

If I have had a flower bouquet, it defo woud have been a bunch of cotton!

Still happily married after 15 minutes. Way to go!

30.09.13   Wedding shenanigans at the Hoover Dam.

Image

30.09.13   Pretty wedding outfit. Why’d I spend a grand on a dress?

Image

01.10.13   Had to do the obligatory jump picture the next day since there have been filmings the day before.

Image

01.10.13   Leaving Las Vegas! Road trip honeymoon!!!

Image

But how unlucky are we as this day was the first of the government shut down. I mean really?? Standing in front of the Grand Canyon’s doors, even smelling the dust and awesomeness but not being able to enter the national park made me mad (see the lovely expression on my face?)

THERE MUST !!! BE A WAY IN!

Image

…. and there sure was! I’m not driving 2000 miles to not see the Grand Canyon. So my wise husband stopped me from giving up and we found a grovel road path to happiness and amazing views! And just made it before sunset.

02.10.13   A long way home. And since all national parks are closed you have to appreciate the “open wilderness”. Climbing fences, driving on dirt roads, crossing wooden bridges… Who needs natinal parks to discover breathtaking spots? Well, I don’t!!
